The Enigma of Meta Discussion

This doesn’t fit into my other storylines, but it’s a funny anecdote that I might as well get out.

For those of you who have never participated in a D&D game, sessions conduct themselves in the following way, generally. The Dungeon Master (DM) or Game Master (GM) prepares the world and the general direction that they’d like the game to naturally flow into, either by taking down sometimes exhaustive notes, or by simply thinking about plot points and non-player characters (NPC). Of Misfits and Murders, Secrets and Sewers

This is a story that starts in a volcano … and ends with the party covered in crap.

Candle’s End is a mining city carved into, yes, the guts of an active volcano. Most of the PCs are just arriving, but one, a gnoll, has been here for some months already. Xeroz works at a Temple of Kelemvor, Lord of the Dead, retrieving the bodies of those who’ve died and preparing them for burial.

The second is that he died from a terminal dose of mace to the face.

A Tale of Al’Craz Romance

I know that there are some folk eagerly anticipating their addition to the storyline of both the Section 9 and Bi-Weekly Ball Z plots, and some who I’m sure would like me to finish up the rip-roaring fisticuffs about to occur in The Bullpen (and perhaps also make some of the dialogue not-lame!). All I have to say to these is hold yer horses. There is so much to be done and so little time on my hands! (Well okay, maybe I’m exaggerating exactly how timeless I am, but seriously, June has been a jerk!) I am, however, impetuous and brash at times, not to mention hella stubborn, so, as it has been too long since I touched the Bi-Weekly Ball Z stuff, I thought it might be about time to do so once again! That said, thought is not likely much involved, as I’m starting this at about 1 am.
